DCSR -Data Centre Security Review
The Data Centre Security Review (DSCR) service benchmarks your data centre security measures against leading international data centre and security standards such as SS507, ISO/IEC-24762, ANSI/TIA-942 and ISO-IEC 27002.
The DCSR service offering will assist organizations to identify gaps in their security which would enable the organization to plan for improvements for data centre security. DCSR also enables organizations that wish to seek, or retain, compliance towards leading standards requiring stringent security measures for the data centre
Additionally the DCSR can be used to review staff and operational processes to determine if weaknesses are present in executing the organizational security policy for the part which addresses security in the data centre.
Although the emphasis is on physical security, a detailed assessment on processes and documentation pertaining to the overall operational control on data centre security is included as well. The DCSR will focus on the security arrangements in and for area’s which include, but are not limited to the Data Centre perimeter, the computer room and all restricted areas supporting the overall Data Centre functionalities. The outcome will be a PDF report which will provide the organizational with valuable information on potential security gaps and risks. The findings will be supported with risk analysis and suggestions and recommendations for possible solutions to improve the data centre security measures. Understanding the security risks is the first step to risk mitigation which could lead to substantial improvements in risk and cost reduction and further improve hi-availability of the data centre.
